Community

Romans 12: 4-7

“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching”.

San Clemente prides itself on being a very strong and vibrant community. Links between staff, students, parents and the wider community are particularly important. The school’s focus on social justice is seen through our St Vincent’s De Paul group and the leadership of the SRC. Students within these groups work collaboratively together in enhancing the spirit and strength of the school community. Parents and Friends representatives contribute significantly to the school and enjoy a positive relationship with San Clemente staff.

The school endeavours to create an atmosphere and environment that supports and nurtures positive relationships. Its unique sense of community is one of its most endearing attributes and it is a common talking point amongst visitors and those who are new to the school. All members of the community are highly valued and are encouraged to play an active role in the life of the school.
