Today, our Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 girls soccer teams represented our school at the Northern NSW Football Girls Gala Day at Speers Point. The aim of the day was to promote women’s football and celebrate the Matilda’s participation in the Women’s FIFA World Cup (hence why some of the girls have yellow and green zinc on their faces!). The girls had a great day out, with one of our 7/8 teams and one of our 9/10 teams remaining undefeated at the end of the day (one of the games included a huge 16-0 win).

Thank you very much to Mr Nicholas Marsh who coached two of the teams and was “barking instructions” from the sidelines.
