Year 7 Social Justice Speech
If you’re anything like me, the needs of the world can feel paralysing sometimes. Have you ever really thought about how water is used and what it would be like if you had no clean water? Water is vital thing we need to survive but there are many people who don’t have access to clean and sanitary water which they can use for their everyday lives. There are many people who live everyday with either dirty water or maybe no water so we must act…
Worldwide, 2.2 billion people still lack access to safe drinking water. More than half of the global population does not have access to safe sanitation. Three billion people do not have access to handwashing facilities with soap…
The main thing we could do to assist would be to donate to places like UNICEF and Caritas. You could spread social awareness on the internet for example posting it on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and other websites. If people can advertise what is happening to people who don’t have access to clean water and sanitation it helps raise awareness, donations, and save lives. The smallest help could make a big impact to someone's life.
